Description Of Work: We had a bathroom and a kitchen updated.

Member Comments: Like our previous experiences with Alex, this was great. The bath and kitchen look great. He took rooms last updated in the '40s, and brought them up to this century. His advice about rental property is very important to us, and helps in the choices of cabinets, fixtures, etc. Our tenants are thrilled with the apartments. During this time Alex caught the flu, and he kept in touch with us regarding the delay due to his illness. He had his son come over on Saturday to help him catch up. We really appreciate his communication with us, his advice, and his work.

Description Of Work: My bathroom was created in 1911, it is now a bathroom from 2008!

Member Comments: Alex came and looked over our bathroom and gave us a quote. He wasn't high pressure at all, and was very informative. He gave us a date and kept to it. When he started the work, he ran into many surprises due to the age of our pipes. The pipes crumbled as he worked on them, and much more work was needed than anticipated. He kept on schedule despite the challenges, and dealt with the difficulty of our having only one bathroom (we did shower at the Y a couple of times). The house was clean at the end of every day, he was respectful of our tenants. One day I realized that I had left out over $700 in cash in the living room, and I wasn't concerned as I trusted Alex! His work was great, we are very pleased with the bathroom, and know that he put in much more work than he had anticipated. We have asked him for a quote for additional work already. I would recommend his work, he is honest, works hard, suggests reasonable alternatives, lets you know if something won't work, is respectful of your house, and is a really nice guy.
